At some point, my confidence in buying vs renting was increasing. Again, I gave Rosie my top priorities. - Great school district (my 11-year-old daughter, middle school) - New construction - Clean and safe neighborhood - A home that was light, bright open, and airy - Close proximity to shopping and restaurants - Lastly proximity to work (I placed my daughter's needs above my own) My ol' my did she deliver. Rosie showed me several places virtually. She went out of her way on multiple occasions to drive to various locations and FaceTimed with me as she would visit house after house. She made my selection process so easy. Over Memorial Day weekend (2022) I decided to drive from El Paso to San Antonio to lay eyes on what I paid earnest money for. Again, Rosie was there. I toured the home and my doubts were increased. After seeing the home in person, it simply didn't function well for my needs. I was in a decision-making dilemma. Yet, Rosie was there. She was there to listen and offer guidance, not sales persuasion. I toured multiple model homes on this visit and ultimately decided to choose the home that she had liked from the very beginning (we have very similar tastes in style). Rosie was there for me through every phase of construction, all the way through closing, and is still there for me today, as a friend. I trusted Rosie through a very difficult time when my trust in people was shaken. For those of you who are Christians, Rosie exemplifies Christ-like. She is loving, kind and humble. I'll never forget this buying experience because not only have I found a professional agent, but I found a lifelong friend. Thank you, Rosie.
Rosalie Deyoung was recommended to me by my son. He and his wife bought a house with her help last year, so I knew in advance that she was an attentive real estate agent. What I found out was that she always responded to my inquiries in less than a day, and usually within less than an hour. She is also knowledgeable about how the buying process works, and she was always on top of making the necessary phone calls to the seller, the lender, the title office, the home inspector, the home insurance agency, and anyone else involved, even before I knew to ask. We closed on the house with the best possible deal. The woman is tireless, nice, and cheerful, without fail.
As we started out on this adventure, I found a new home for my grandmother. We knew it was going to be a very hard sell. Rosie was very patient with us, and we went through quite a few houses before we finally found the right one for her. Rosie helped us negotiate a price that would fit in my grandmother’s budget and was in a safe neighborhood. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She was our constant throughout this whole process. Rosie has such a big heart. And always was there for any questions or concerns we had. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new home.
